Contextualization: The enforcement of criminal law in electoral matters is a crucial element in safeguarding the integrity and legitimacy of the democratic process in Indonesia. This article examines the dynamics of law enforcement in response to electoral criminal offenses within the jurisdiction of the Jambi Regional Police, with particular attention to case-handling mechanisms, the role of law enforcement institutions, and the obstacles encountered throughout the enforcement process. Objective: This study aims to analyze and evaluate the enforcement of criminal law in electoral offenses in Indonesia, with a focused case study on the jurisdiction of the Jambi Regional Police. The analysis employs several theoretical frameworks, including the Theory of Law Enforcement, the Criminal Justice System Theory, and the concept of the democratic state, as foundational bases for examining the issue. Methodology: This research adopts a socio-legal approach by employing document analysis, interviews with law enforcement officials, and a review of case data handled during the last two electoral cycles. Findings: The findings reveal that despite the existence of an adequate legal framework, practical implementation in the field continues to face numerous challenges. These include limited inter-agency coordination, insufficient public awareness of electoral law, and the influence of local political interests. The study recommends strengthening the capacity of law enforcement personnel, enhancing legal education for the public, and optimizing the role of the Integrated Law Enforcement Center as strategic efforts to improve the effectiveness of electoral criminal law enforcement at the regional level
