Analisa Keamanan Jaringan Wifi Menggunakan Wireshark dengan Metode Chi Square pada Gedung Fakultas Teknik Universitas Islam Riau

This study aims to analyze the network security of a website using the Wireshark device with the application of the Chi Square test. Network security is a critical issue in today's digital era, due to increasing threats to data confidentiality and system integrity. The method used in this study is network analysis using the Wireshark tool to monitor and record network traffic entering and leaving the website. The initial stage of this research is to identify potential security threats that might occur on the intended website. After that, network traffic data is collected using Wireshark for a certain period. The collected data is then processed and analyzed to identify strange patterns that could indicate an attempted attack or suspicious activity. Furthermore, the Chi Square test is applied to the processed data to determine whether there is a significant relationship between the observed variables, such as the type of attack detected, the location of the attack source, and the time of the attack. The Chi Square test is used to measure the degree of association between these variables. The results of this study will provide an overall picture of the security level of the intended website network. Thus, preventive and remedial measures can be identified to deal with existing security threats. In addition, the use of the Chi Square test in network analysis also contributes to the improvement of network security analysis methods that are more effective and efficient.
