Analisis Usahatani dan Pemasaran Tanaman Hias Aglaonema di Kelurahan Sidomulyo Timur Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai Kota Pekanbaru (Studi Kasus Mica Flowers)

The Aglounema ornamental plant is one of the commodities whose prospects are currently increasing in the market. The increasing demand for Aglounema causes the need for ways to increase cultivation skills. The aims of this research are 1) Characteristics of Entrepreneurs and Labor of aglounema ornamental plant farming in Mika Bunga Business in Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province 2) Production Cost, production, income, and efficiency of aglaonema ornamental plant farming in Mika Bunga Business in Marpoyan District Damai, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province 3) Marketing (channels, costs, benefits, margins, and marketing efficiency) of aglounema ornamental plants in the Mika Flower Business in Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanabaru City, Riau Province. This study used a case study method on Mika Flower ornamental plant farming in Sidomulyo Timur Village, Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. The results of the study showed 1) The characteristics of the age of the mica flower entrepreneur were 51 years, the length of formal education was Diploma III, and 22 years of business experience. The number of dependents of the entrepreneur's family is 2 people. The Aglounema ornamental plant business in the Mica Flower business was founded in 2000. The total workforce is 2 people. 2) Production costs are IDR 34,436,375/production. Revenue of IDR 25,563,625/production. the efficiency value of Aglounema farming is 1.74, meaning that Aglounema ornamental plant farming in Mika Bunga business is efficient, 3) Mika Bunga business is in channel I, which is a direct channel which is a form of product interaction from entrepreneur to consumer without the involvement of traders.
