ANALISIS PENGARUH SALINITAS DAN TEMPERATUR TERHADAP PENINGKATAN VISKOSITAS AIR DENGAN PENAMBAHAN BIOPOLIMER ECENG GONDOK PADA METODE CHEMICAL ENHANCED OIL RECOVERY

Cemical Enhanced Oil Recovery(CEOR) merupakan metode peningkatan perolehan minyak yang memanfaatkan bahan kimia untuk memperbaiki sifat fluida pendesak melalui peningkatan viskositas air injeksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan viskositas air akibat penambahan biopolimer eceng gondok (Eichhornia crassipes) serta menganalisis pengaruh salinitas dan temperatur terhadap kinerjanya. Biopolimer diperoleh melalui proses ekstraksi dan diuji kompatibilitas, viskositas, serta densitasnya padavariasi salinitas 10.000–20.000 ppm, temperatur 25–65°C, dan konsentrasi polimer 1.000–3.000 ppm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan biopolimer eceng gondok mampu meningkatkan viskositas air, di mana peningkatan konsentrasi polimer menghasilkanviskositas yang lebih tinggi, namun kenaikan salinitas dan temperatur cenderung menurunkan kinerjanya. Kondisi optimum diperoleh pada salinitas dan temperatur rendah hingga menengah, sehingga biopolimer eceng gondok berpotensi digunakan sebagai agen peningkat viskositas fluida pendesak pada metode CEOR.
