ANALISIS OPTIMASI RECOVERY FACTOR HYDRAULIC FRACTURING PADA RESERVOIR SHALE OIL MENGGUNAKAN FracCADE V.7.0 DAN CMG GEM

Reservoir shale oil memiliki permeabilitas sangat rendah sehingga metode produksi konvensional tidak efektif dalam menghasilkan minyak secara optimal. Pada Sumur Y Lapangan A yang dikelola oleh PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan, penerapan single-stage hydraulic fracturing hanya menghasilkan satu rekahan utama dengan kontak reservoir terbatas dan recovery factor sekitar 3%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis optimasi recovery factor melalui perbandingan kinerja single-stage dan multi-stage hydraulic fracturing pada reservoir shale oil. Desain geometri rekahan dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak FracCADE V.7.0, meliputi fracture half-length, fracture width, fracture height, dan fracture conductivity, kemudian diintegrasikan ke dalam simulasi reservoir komposisional menggunakan CMG GEM untuk mengevaluasi kinerja produksi. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa single-stage hydraulic fracturing menghasilkan recovery factor sebesar 3,2%, sedangkan penerapan multi-stage hydraulic fracturing mampu meningkatkan distribusi rekahan, memperluas fracture stimulated area, dan meningkatkan efisiensi aliran fluida sehingga recovery factor meningkat menjadi 26,25%. Peningkatan ini menunjukkan bahwa multi-stage hydraulic fracturing lebih efektif dibandingkan single-stage dalam meningkatkan perolehan minyak pada reservoir shale oil berpermeabilitas sangat rendah.
