Perkembangan Fasies Pengendapan Formasi Telisa Berdasarkan Foraminifera Planktonik Dan Bentonik Daerah Tabing Dan Sekitarnya, Kecamatan Kampar Hulu, Kabupaten Kampar, Provinsi Riau
The research area is at coordinates 0°18'03.9414”- 0°20'45.8226”N and 100°36'30.3441”-100°39'12.2253” East. Administratively, the research area is included in the Tabing area and surroundings, Koto Kampar Hulu District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. The purpose of this study was to determine several geological aspects, namely to determine the characteristics of the depositional environment of rocks in the study area, to determine the age and development of the facies of the depositional environment in the study area, to provide a reference for the geological potential contained in the study area. The method used was starting from field sampling, rock description, stratigraphic analysis composed of carbonated claystones of the Telisa Formation and non-carbonated sandstones of the Telisa Formation during the Middle Miocene, as well as micropaleontological analysis of Middle Miocene fossils deposited in a marine environment. The stratigraphic profile vertically from bottom to top was arranged by 9 representative stations. Lithofacies analysis was arranged based on lithology, physical, chemical, biological properties, sedimentary structure, and grain size. , carbonated sandstone and noncarbonated sandstone. The grouping of facies associations is composed of noncarbonated distributive mouth bar sandstone, Middle Neritic parallel laminated carbonated claystone, non-carbonated claystone and non-carbonated sandstone Tidal Channel. The geological potential contained in the research area are petroleum system such as reservoir, caprock, at Central Sumatera Basin.
