Analisis Perbandingan Kinerja Keuangan pada Perusahaan Asuransi Pemerintah dan Perusahaan Asuransi Swasta Menggunakan Metode Early Warning System (EWS) di Indonesia

The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze the comparison of financial performance in government insurance companies and private insurance companies using the Early Warning System (EWS) method in Indonesia. This research was conducted at government insurance companies and private insurance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2017-2019 period. The number of samples in this study is 10 samples which are divided into 5 government insurance companies and 5 private insurance companies, using the sampling method, namely purposive sampling method. And the data analysis method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive analysis method with independent sample t statistical tests -test. Based on the results of the research analysis, it can be concluded that there are significant differences in the claims expense ratio and there are no significant differences in the ratio of the level of adequacy of funds, underwriting ratios, liquidity ratios and own retention ratios in assessing financial performance using the EWS (Early Warning System) method between companies. government insurance and private insurance companies registered with the Financial Services Authority for the 2017-2019 period.
