Peran Komunikasi Interpersonal Ustadz Dalam Membentuk Perilaku Kedisiplinan Santri Tingkat Madrasah Aliyyah Jurusan Ips (Studi Di Pesantren Al-Ihsan Boarding School)

This study discusses the role of ustadz interpersonal communication in shaping the disciplinary behavior of students at the Madrasah Aliyyah level in the Social Sciences department at the Al-Ihsan Boarding School Islamic Boarding School. This study determines how interpersonal communication exists between the two, namely ustadz and students. This study aims to find out how the ustadz in the boarding school of Aliyyah and students in schools or dormitories create problems/undiscipline in the Al-Ihsan Boarding School boarding school and what are the perceived obstacles from the principal of the coaching school and the head of the Aliyyah boarding school in knowing that students do problems in Islamic boarding schools. This study uses a qualitative research method. Collecting data through the method of observation, interviews and also documentation. The results showed that the communication between the ustadz head of the dormitory and students who had problems was carried out with 3 categories of problems, namely: first, sleeping often and getting up late. Second, run away from the cottage and smoke in the cottage area. Third, bring a gadget (mobile phone to the hostel). The stage for dealing with problematic students is to find out the reason for their personality why they can do the problem, then the students will be faced with the ustadz so that they will be subject to Iqob (sanctions) for the problem actions committed. There are 3 Iqob (sanctions) that must be carried out by students with problems, namely: First, cleaning the dormitory yard, mosque and surrounding areas. Second, memorizing the holy verses of the Qur'an (depositing memorization). Third, memorizing Mufrodats (vocabularies using Arabic and English). The obstacles felt by the ustadz head of the hostel are how to be patient and have to be closer to many students so that interpersonal communication is maintained.
