This study aims to determine the effect of capital gain and dividend distribution on the volume of stock trading in financial companies. listed on the IDX. This study uses secondary data with a sample size of 20 companies. The data used are data on stock trading volume per year, closing stock prices per year, and dividend data per year. The test results of this study indicate that capital gains have a significant effect on stock trading volume. And dividend distribution has no significant effect on stock trading volume.
