Code Switching Word Analysis Londo Kampung On Youtube Channel

In this research entitled “Code Switching Word Analysis Londo Kampung on Youtube Channel” the researcher analyzes two types of code switching based on Wardaugh theory. The two types can be determined by the use of more than one language in an utterance. The purpose of this thesis is to find the types of code switching contained in the Youtube channel Londo Kampung as host and Fiki Naki as a celebrity guest. The design of this research was qualitative method. The researcher got source of the data from “Londo Kampung” youtube channel. The data findings were in all of the utterances in “londo kampung” youtube channel. The instrument of this research was transcript. The researcher downloaded, watched and classified the utterances using Wardaugh theory. then listen the speech in the video over and over and transribe the utterance into a script which is required as data. The results show that the types of code switching used by Londo Kampung are Situational Code Switching and Metaphorical Code Switching based on Wardaugh,R (2006) theory. While, the most dominant code switching that used by Londo Kampung Youtube channel was Metaphorical Code Switching.
