Pengaruh Limbah Restoran Padang Dan Abu Kertas Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Jahe (Zingiber Officinale Rosc)

This study aims to determine the effect of Padang Restaurant Waste and Paper Ash on Ginger Growth and Production. The research has been carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan. Kaharuddin Nasution No. 113, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. The research was carried out for 6 months starting from January 2022 to June 2022 using a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors, the first factor was Padang restaurant waste consisting of 4 levels, namely 0, 500, 750 and 1000 ml/polybag and the second factor was ash. The paper consisted of 4 levels, namely 0, 6, 12 and 18 g/polybag, each treatment consisted of 4 levels so that there were 16 treatment combinations with 3 replications, so there were 48 experimental units. Each treatment consisted of 4 plants and 2 plants were used as samples, so there were 288 plants. Parameters observed were: plant height, relative growth rate, net assimilation rate, number of tillers in a group, plant wet weight, plant dry weight and harvest index. The research data were analyzed statistically and continued with the 5% BNJ test. The results showed that the interaction of field restaurant waste and paper ash had a significant effect on the parameters of relative growth rate, net assimilation rate, number of clumps of tillers, plant wet weight, plant dry weight and harvest index. with the best treatment of Padang restaurant waste 1000 ml/polybag and paper ash 18 g/polybag. The main effect of the dose of Padang restaurant waste was real on all parameters observed, where the best treatment was 1000 ml/polybag while the main effect of real paper ash on all parameters with the best treatment was 18 g/polybag.
