Study Efisiensi Pemurnian Sweet Gas Dengan Adsorpsi Campuran Senyawa Amine (Adsorbent Dea) Pada Simulasi Gas Aspen Hysys V.10

Natural gas is located below the surface of the reservoir which may contain impurities that are not desirable at the time of sale, for example H2S and CO2. These impurities can cause technical problems that can damage the environment and cause corrosion in pipelines. to treat sour gas contained in sour natural gas (25 MMSCFD, 1.7 mol% H2S and 4.13 mol% CO2) in the industrial world, the allowable acid gas content is in accordance with contract regulations, the H2S gas content is around 4 ppm and CO2 is around 2% on natural gas streams. Therefore it is necessary to carry out the absorption or absorption process on the absorber that produces sweet gas by mixing the compound using lean DEA with a composition of 28% DEA (25-35% wt) and 72% H2O H2O. This research was conducted to determine the efficiency of sweet gas both CO2 and H2S in the absorption process using the Aspen Hysys V. 10 simulation. The data entered into the absorber are lean DEA inlet and feed gas inlet. The researcher made a comparison of internal modifications of the 3 types of absorbers, both 3 inches, 2 inches and 1.5 inches. As for the results obtained from the sensitivity simulation of the research study, the sweet gas efficiency obtained at 1.5 inch size is CO2 0.0106749 % mol and H2S 0.000024 ppm.
