Analisa Variasi Jumlah Mata Pisau Terhadap Hasil Cacahan Pada Mesin Pencacah Pakan Ternak
This study aims to determine the engine performance and capacity of the elephant grass chopping machine on animal feed chopping machines by varying the number of blades and their speed. In this study, there were 2, 3, and 4 blades. The speeds are 750 rpm, 850 rpm, and 1100 rpm. The results of the study showed variations using 4 blades resulted in the highest chop, which was 93.7 kg/hour. Variations using blade 3 with a speed of 1100 rpm produce 90.9 kg/hour, and variations using blade 2 with a speed of 1100 rpm produce 88 kg/hour. The calculation of the analysis of variation using 4 blades resulted in the highest 2-5 cm chop, which was 60.4%. The largest percentage of chopped >5 cm was obtained at blade variation 2 yielding 47.1%. While the most chopped
