Faktor-faktor yang Mempengaruhi Pertumbuhan Penduduk di Kota Pekanbaru

This research was conducted in Pekanbaru City. This study aims to determine how the influence of the number of migration, births and deaths on population development in Pekanbaru City. Data taken by other relevant government agencies, namely BPS (Central Statistics Agency) Pekanbaru City consists of the number of residents, the Pekanbaru City population registration service, which is to determine the number of in-migration and out-migration, and the Pekanbaru City Health Office to determine the number of births and deaths. . The data analysis model used in this study is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis which is used to determine the magnitude of the effect on changes in a related variable. The variables used in this analysis are the dependent variable or dependent variable (Y) namely population growth, the independent variable (X) is migration, births and deaths. Based on the results of the research and discussion above, it can be concluded that births, deaths and migration have an effect on population development in Pekanbaru City from 2010 to 2021.
