Uji Aktivitas Antibakteri Ekstrak Etanol Daun Binahong (Anredera Cordifolia, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa dan Vibrio Alginolyticus
This study aims to determine the antibacterial activity of the ethanol extract of Binahong leaves in inhibiting the growth of Aeromonas hydrophila, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Vibrio alginolyticus bacteria and to determine the best extract concentration to inhibit Aeromonas hydrophila, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Vibrio alginolyticus bacteria. The materials used in this study were Binahong leaves, Aeromonas hydrophila bacteria, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Vibrio alginolyticus, ethanol, methanol, NA, NB, disc paper and distilled water. The method used was an experimental method using the Kirby-Bauer disc method, using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments with 2 repetitions, namely: P1 extract concentration 30%, P2 extract concentration 40%, P3 extract concentration 50%, P4 concentration extract 60% and P5 extract concentration 70%. The results of this study showed that the leaves of Binahong (Anredera cordifolia) positively contain Alkaloids, Phenolics, Flavonoids, Saponins and Terpenoids. Treatments P1 to P5 (concentration 30% -70%) showed moderate inhibition of the three pathogenic bacteria.
