Respon Pertumbuhan Serta Produksi Tenaman Jagung Manis (Zea Mays saccaratha Sturt.)
Research on sweet corn plants has been carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution KM 11, NO. 113 Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru, starting from June to September 2022 which aims to determine the growth response and production of sweet corn plants to the application of goat manure and NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 fertilizer. This study used a 4x4 factorial completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors, namely the first factor was application of doses of goat manure with levels of 4 treatments, namely 0; 2; 3 and 4.5 kg/plot. The second factor was the application of NPK Mutiara fertilizer doses 16:16:16 with a level of 4 treatments, namely 0; 2.5; 3.75 and 5.0 g/plant. Parameters observed were: plant height, number of leaves, harvesting age, cob weight with husk, cob weight without cob, cob length without cob, number of rows in one ear and number of seeds per ear. Observational data were analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ follow-up test with a level of 5%. The results showed that the response of growth and production of sweet corn plants to the application of goat manure and NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 fertilizer was significant for the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, cob weight, cob weight without cob, cob length without cob, number of rows. in one cob and the number of seeds per cob. The best treatment combination was goat manure dose of 4.5 kg/plot and Pearl NPK 16:16:16 dose of 5.0 g/plant. The main response of real goat manure to all parameters of observation. The best treatment at a dose of 4.5 kg/plot. The main response of NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 fertilizer is real for all parameters of observation. The best treatment at a dose of 5.0 g/plant.
