Pengaruh Ketinggian Posisi Media Tumbuh dan Jenis Varietas Sawi (Brassica Juncea l) pada Budidaya Hidroponik Vertikultur
This study aims to determine the interaction effect of the height of the position of the growing media and the type of mustard variety (Brassica juncea L.) on vertical hydroponic cultivation. This research was carried out at Dokagu UIR Housing Block b No. 2, Air cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. It was carried out for 2 months, September – October 2022. This study used a Split Plot Design (RPT) in Factorial RAL. The main plot was the height of the growing media (P) which consisted of 4 treatment levels, namely: heights of 60, 80, 100 and 120 cm. Subplots were mustard varieties (S) consisting of 4 treatment levels, namely: mustard varieties tosakan, shinta, kumala, HCA 01, 16 treatment combinations were obtained with 3 replications, so there were 48 experimental units. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaf blades, widest leaf area, economic wet weight, dry weight, root canopy ratio and root volume. The data were analyzed statistically and continued with the honest significant difference test (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that the height of the growing medium did not significantly affect all observation parameters. However, the tendency for the best growth media height treatment was 120 cm (P4). The use of various types of caisim mustard varieties and interactively the hydroponic height and various mustard varieties had a significant effect on all observed parameters. The best mustard variety treatment was the Tosakan mustard variety (S1) on the parameters of height, widest leaf area, economic wet weight, dry weight, root canopy ratio and root volume. In interaction, the results of the best treatment combination were the height of the growing media of 120 cm and the use of the Tosakan variety (P4S1).
