An Analysis Of Students Speaking Problem On Presentation Of The Eleventh Grade Students At Sman 3 Siak Hulu

This research aims to find out the speaking problem while presentation which are owned by the eleventh grade students of SMAN 3 SIAK HULU such as, presentation systematics, language use, fluency, and ability to respond to question. The research design used in this study is a descriptive design with qualitative approach. The primary factor of this descriptive studies is to represent accurate and significant data. The researcher conducted descriptive researcher to know the students obstacle in speaking performance in when giving presentation at eleventh grade in SMAN 3 Siak Hulu. The population of this research was all the eleventh grade student of SMAN 3 Siak Hulu, totaling 180 students and divided into 6 classes. The sample in this research was researcher took 38 students. The instrument in this research was to use the instrument to collecting the data using the questionnaire. The questionnaire was used to find out the problems of students on their speaking performance. The highest percentage of problem faced by the students in each indicators is first, twenty five percent of student had a problem in presentation systematics. Second, sixty two of students faced problem in language use. Third, fifty five percent of students do not care about articulation when presenting. Fourth, fifty six percent of student had a problem in responding question. In conclusion the students faced some problems in language use, so that they get hard to mastering speaking skill especially in giving presentation.
