Dampak Aplikasi Tiktok pada Siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri 018 Sorek Satu Kabupaten Pelalawan
This research aims to determine the impact of the Tik Tok application on the of class IV students at SD Negeri 018 Sorek Satu, Pelalawan Regency. Technological developments in the digital era have caused fourth grade elementary school (SD) students to be more involved in the Tik Tok application rather than socializing in their environment. So the activity of playing the Tik Tok application triggers positive and negative impacts on students' social behavior. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. The data collection methods used in this research are observation and interviews. The subjects of this research were 7 (seven) people, consisting of 3 (three) grade IV elementary school students, 3 (three) student parents and 1 (one) class teacher at SD Negeri 018 Sorek Satu, Pelalawan Regency. The results of this research show that the Tik Tok application has positive and negative impacts. The positive impact of the Tik Tok application is as a means of conveying information, as a medium of entertainment, making it easier for children to get new information, helping them find learning materials. Meanwhile, the negative impacts of the Tikto application are violent content that children imitate, lack of time to socialize, laziness to help parents, the rise of pornographic content on the Tiktok application.
