Research on the effect of quail dung and KCl on the growth and production of shallot plants was carried out at the Experimental Garden, Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru, for 3 months from July 2023 to September 2023. The aim of the research was to determine the effect of the interaction of quail dung and KCl on growth and production of shallot plants. This research is a 4x4 Factorial Experiment in a completely randomized design, consisting of 2 factors, namely the first factor is the provision of quail manure fertilizer consisting of 4 levels, namely 0, 1, 2 and 3 kg per plot and the second factor is KCl which consists of 4 levels, namely 0 , 10, 20 and 30 g per plot. Each treatment consisted of 3 replications so that 48 experimental units were obtained, each plot consisted of 25 plants and 5 plants as observation samples, so the total number was 1,200 plants. The parameters observed were relative growth rate, plant height, harvest age, number of bulbs per cluster, shallot grade, wet bulb weight per cluster, dry bulb weight per cluster and tuber weight loss. The observation data was analyzed statistically and carried out with the Advanced Honestly Significant Difference Test (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of quail droppings and KCl was significant for all observation parameters. The best treatment is a combination of 3 kg quail manure/plot and 30 g KCl/plot. The main effect of quail droppings was significant on all observation parameters, with the best treatment being 3 kg/plot. The main effect of KCl was significant on all observation parameters, with the best treatment being 30 g/plot.
