Pengaruh Media Tanam Campuran Ampas Kopi dan Cocopeat Terhadap Pertumbuhan Serta Produksi Bunga Telang (Clitoria Ternatea)

This research aims to determine the effect of a mixture of coffee grounds and cocopeat planting media on the growth and production of telang flowers (Clitoria ternatea), and was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru, from January to March 2023. The research used a completely randomized design. Factorial consisting of one factor, namely the percentage of coffee grounds and cocopeat in the planting medium with 4 levels, namely: 100% top soil; top soil 75% + coffee grounds 25%; top soil 50% + coffee grounds 50%; top soil 25% + coffee grounds 75%; top soil 75% + cocopeat 25%; top soil 50% + cocopeat 50%; top soil 25% + cocopeat 75%; top soil 50% + coffee grounds 25% + cocopeat 25%; 50% coffee grounds + 25% top soil + 25% cocopeat. The parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvest age and number of flowers per plant. The data was analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ test at the 5% level. The results of the research showed that the influence of the planting media mixed with coffee grounds and cocopeat was significant on all observation parameters. The best treatment is a soil percentage of 50% top soil + 25% coffee grounds + 25% cocopeat.
