Student Perception Of Movie to Increase Vocabulary Mastery At Eleventh Grade of SMAN 11 Pekanbaru
This research aims to study about how are students perception’ if using cartoon movie as the learning media to increase their vocabulary ability. The researcher used qualitative data collection techniques in this study. In collecting the data, the researcher applied the questionnaire to the students. The questionnaire gave to the second grade of SMAN 11 Pekanbaru to answer the several choice in the questionnaire and the respondents have around 20-30 minutes for complete their questionnaire. Positive statements from the questionnaire were found based on these findings. Examining it via the lenses of cognitive, affective, and conative perception, in that order, reveals the declaration of agreement's results, which total more than 50%. They support using cartoon movies in the classroom to help students learn new words. When they learn English, they become happier and more driven to acquire the language in order to become proficient readers, writers, and listeners of cartoon films.
