Sistem Informasi Monitoring Ekstrakurikuler dan Kokurikuler Berbasis Web (Studi Kasus SMAN 2 Siak Hulu)

Extracurricular and co-curricular activities are activities carried out outside of standard curriculum learning hours with the aim of developing interests and talents and optimizing the strengthening of student character education. SMAN 2 Siak Hulu as an educational institution has 37 extracurricular activities and has implemented several cocurricular activities. However, with the large number of extracurricular and co-curricular activities that continue to grow, the school still uses manual methods to manage and monitor extracurricular and co-curricular activities, as well as students who have to meet the teacher in charge of extracurricular or co-curricular supervisors to register themselves which is certainly less practical and inefficient. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of creating a system that can assist schools in managing and monitoring extracurricular and co-curricular activities, as well as helping students to more easily access information about extracurricular and co-curricular activities and facilitate the registration process. The method used to design and develop this system is the Waterfall method. The results of questionnaire testing of this Extracurricular and Co-curricular Monitoring Information System were given to 61 people consisting of teachers and students of SMAN 2 Siak Hulu with 8 statements using the Likert scale method getting 90.86% results and getting "very good" results so that this application can be applied at SMAN 2 Siak Hulu.
