the purpose of this study was to determine the village fund policy in pungkat village, gaung district, indragiri hilir regency and to determine the effectiveness of the village fund policy in improving infrastructure in pungkat indragiri hilir regency. this research was conducted in indragiri hilir regency. the data analysis method used in the study is a descriptive qualitative method to describe The effectiveness of the village fund policy. in this study, researchers used a descriptive ratio analysis technique to measure effectiveness. the results showed that the village fund polycy in pungkat village, gaung district, indragiri hilir regency was used for infrastructure development and community empowermant. the effectiveness of the village fund policy in omproving infrastructure in pungkat village, gaung district, indragiri hilir regency is stated to be quite effective.
