Type Of Code -Mixing Used In Selected Episodes on Boy William' s Podcas

Nowadays, code mixing is commonly used in social media, particularly podcasts. Many public people employed this type of code mixing to inspire themselves and gain prestige. this study has objectives: To know the types of code-mixing found in the "Nebeng Boy" podcast dialogue. This research is used descriptive qualitative method. The data source in this research was taken from 3 Boy William Podcast videos with the title Chef Renata Aslinya Beda Sama Di Tv! #NebengBoyNewGeneration, Valencia Tanoesoedibjo: Punya 3 Gedung & Helipad Bebas Mau Kemana Aja!, Lepas Hijab! Rachel Vennya Buka Suara Ke Boy William!. The researcher collected the data by watching the video podcast. And then made a script to classified the form of code mixing. Based on the findings of the study and the data analysis of the type of code-mixing used in Podcast Boy William Of the 3 podcasts analyzed there were only three levels of code-mixing were found, namely: Insertion of Word with 43 words, Insertion of Phrase with 13 phrases, Insertion of hybrid is not found in this dialogue, Insertion of Word Reduplication with 1 word reduplication, Insertion of Idiom is not found in this dialogue and Insertion of Clause found as 26 clauses.
