Penerepan Model Pembelajaran Open Ened dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Divergen Siswa Kelas VIII Bidang Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 12 Pekanbaru
This research was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted at Junior High School 12 Pekanbaru. The subjects of the research were 25 students from class VIII8 in the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The analysis technique used in this study was quantitative, while the data collection technique used was observation. The indicators of success for this research were 80% both classically and individually. This was proven based on the observation results of teacher activities in applying the Open-Ended learning model, which in the first cycle reached 77.6% and increased to 89.4% in the second cycle. A similar improvement occurred in the observation of students' Divergent thinking skills, as evidenced by the observation results. In the pre-cycle, the classical completeness rate was 0%, and the classical incompleteness rate was 100%, with an average score of 65.68%, falling into the "quite creative" category. In the first cycle, the classical completeness rate was 28%, and the classical incompleteness rate was 72%, with an average score of 76.6%, thus falling into the "creative" category. In the second cycle, the classical completeness rate was 88%, and the classical incompleteness rate was 12%, with an average score of 84%, falling into the "very creative" category.
