Pengaruh Mulsa Jerami Padi Poc BMW terhadap Pertumbuhan Serta Produksi Tanaman Pare (Momordica Charantia l)

This research aims to determine the main and interaction effects treatment of rice straw mulch and POC BMW on growth as well production of bitter melon (Momordica charantia L.). Research has been carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru City, starting from July to October 2023. Research uses design Complete Random Factorial consisting of two factors. The first factor is the dose of mulch Rice straw (M) consists of 4 levels, namely: 0, 500, 1000, 1500 g/plot. Second factor BMW POC concentration (4) consists of 4 levels, namely: 0, 15, 30, 45 ml/liter of water. The parameters observed were flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit per plants, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per fruit, fruit length and number remaining fruit per plant. The data was analyzed statistically and continued with testing BNJ rate 5%. The results showed that the effect of mulch interaction rice straw and real BMW POC on the parameters of the number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per fruit, fruit length and number of remaining fruit per plant. The best treatment is a rice straw mulch dose of 1500 g/plot and BMW POC concentration 45 ml/liter of water. The main effect of rice straw mulch is obvious for all observation parameters. The best treatment is at a dose of 1500 g/plot. The main effect of BMW POC is significant on all observation parameters. The best treatment is at a concentration of 45 ml/liter of water.
