Respon Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Tanaman Kacang Merah (Vigna Angularis l) terhadap Wahtu Pemberian Pupuk Hijau Crotalaria Juncea dan NPK Organik
Growth and Yield Responses of Red Bean Plants (Vigna angularis L.) Against the Timing of Green Fertilizer Crotalaria juncea and Organic NPK under the guidance of Dr. Ir. Saripah Ulpah, M.Sc. as a mentor. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of Crotalaria juncea and Organic NPK Green Fertilizer on the growth and yield of red bean (Vigna angularis L.), both in terms of interaction and main effect. This research was carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution Km 113, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. For 6 months, from February 2020 to August 2020. The research design used was a Completely Randomized Factorial Design which consisted of 2 factors. The first factor was Crotalaria juncea (O) green manure which consisted of 4 levels, namely 0, 2, 3, 4 weeks before planting time at a dose of 2 kg/plot and the second factor was Organic NPK (N) which consisted of 4 levels, namely 0.20 , 40, 60 g/plot. Parameters observed were plant height, relative growth rate (LPR), flowering age (HST). The results showed that the interaction of Crotalaria juncea green manure and Organic NPK had a significant effect on the relative growth rate (LPR) and flowering age, the best treatment was the immersion of Crotalaria juncea green manure for 3 weeks before planting 2 kg/plot and Organic NPK 60 g/plot . The main effect of Crotalaria juncea green manure is to have a significant effect on the relative growth rate (LPR), the best treatment is the immersion of Crotalaria juncea green manure for 3 weeks before planting 2 kg/plot. The main effect of Organic NPK does not have a significant effect on each of the observed parameters. Data for parameters of harvest and post-harvest age were not obtained for further testing. This is influenced by several factors including the lack of intake of nutrients needed by plants, temperature and humidity, no root nodules, soil pH, and pest and disease attacks.
