Analisis Pemasyaran Ayam Broirer di Desa Air Molek Kecamatan Pasir Penyu Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu Provinsi Riau

Broiler chicken business requires large capital to purchase day old chicken (DOC) and feed. DOC and feed prices tend to increase, thereby affecting the income of farmers. The purpose of this study were to analyze (1) farmer characteristics and business profiles (2) analyze production costs, production, income and efficiency and analyze BEP on rearing broiler chickens in Air Molek Village, Pasir Penyu District, Indragiri Hulu Regency of Riau. The method used is survey method. Purposive Sampling of broiler breeders. The analysis used is descriptive statistical analysis and farming analysis. The results showed that the average broiler breeder in Air Molek Village, Pasir Penyu District, Indragiri Hulu Regency had a productive age, education level was 11.25 years, the number of farmer family members was 2 people and farming experience was 6 years, the form of an individual corporate entity, a business capital of Rp. 208,071,000 and an average cage area of 1,680 m2. The total cost of production used by broiler breeders is IDR 185,995,268, the average income for broiler breeders is IDR 205,325,400 per production, the average income for broiler breeders is IDR 19,330,132 per production. The RCR of broiler breeders is 1.10, which means that the business is feasible. BEP Production is 1,120 kg and BEP Price is IDR 14,181, which means that the business will reach BEP when the farmer sells 1,120 kg at a price of IDR 14,181.
