Analisis Faktor-faktor yang Mempengaruhi Pengeluaran Rumah Tangga Petani Nenas di Kecamatan Dumai Timur Provinsi Riau

Household expenses are influenced by household income, wife's education, number of family members, assets and savings. This research aims to: (1) determine the characteristics of pineapple farmers in East Dumai District, Riau Province (2) What are the income and expenses of pineapple farmer households in East Dumai District, Riau Province (3) What factors influence the expenditure of pineapple farmers in East Dumai District, Riau Province . This research was carried out using a survey method in the Tanjung Palas and Bukit Bethrem sub- districts with a total of 64 respondents and was carried out from May 2023 to June 2023. The data was analyzed qualitatively descriptively and using veranda linear regression analysis. The results of the research on the characteristics of household respondents mean the average age of farmers is 46.78 years, the wife's education level is 9.71 years, farming experience is 8.70 years, the average number of family members is 4 people, and the average land area is 1.74 hectares. The total average household income of pineapple farmers is IDR. 91,893,993/year. With an average pineapple farming income of IDR 69,178,161/year (75.27%), the average total non-pineapple farming income is IDR. 13,221,640/year (14.38%), and total non- farming income is Rp. 9,571,875/year (10.35%). The average total expenditure of pineapple farmer households is IDR. 50,297,527/year. Average food expenditure Rp. 29,511,953/year (58.68%) and average non-food expenditure IDR 20,785,574/year (41.32%). The results of the estimation model for pineapple farming household expenditures show that the significant factors that influence pineapple farming household expenditures are income, wife's education level, number of family members, and household assets.
