Faktor-faktor yang Mempengaruhi Masyarakat Bermukim pada Kawasan Perkebunan di Desa Sungai Simpang Dua

Settlements are a basic need for human life that must be met. The growth and development in Sei Simpang Dua Village has been going very fast until now where the location of this village is near a plantation area. The purpose of this study is to determine the existing land use in Sungai Simpang Dua Village in 2022. 2. What are the factors that affect the community living in the plantation area in Sungai Simpang Dua Village. The type of research used is based on the formulation of the problem and the objectives to be carried out, namely with qualitative and descriptive methods. The number of samples in this study was 100 respondents and to achieve the desired goals using the Likert scale method. Based on the results obtained from this study, land use tends to be plantation land, where 76.6% of land in Sungai Simpang Dua Village is used as plantation land, and Residential land use is 14% of the remaining land area. And the factors that affect the people living in Sungai Simpang Dua Village are demographic factors, employment factors, social and economic factors, accessibility factors, land value factors, facilities factors, topography factors and utility network factors. From the research results that have been obtained, what makes people live in an area is the presence of population growth and employment, then it is also seen from the condition of the land that is sufficient to live and survive Keyword : factors, settlement, landuse
