Pengaruh Abu Boiler Sawit dan Kompos Paitan (Thitonia diversivolia) terhadap Bipit Kakao (Theobroma Cacao l) Klon Bi-50 pada Tanah Podsolik Merah Kuning
This research aims to determine the main and interaction effects treatment of boiler ash and paitan compost (Thitonia diversifolia) against growth of cocoa seedlings (Theobroma cacao L.) Clone BI-50. Research has carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Kota Pekanbaru, from June to October 2023. Research using Completely Randomized Factorial Design consisting of two factors. First factor is the boiler ash dosage (A) consisting of 4 levels, namely: 0, 100, 200, 300 g per polybag. The second factor is the dosage of paitan compost (K) consisting of 5 levels, namely: 0, 20, 40, 60 80 g per polybag. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, total widest leaves, root volume and root length. Data analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ test at the 5% level. Research result shows that the effect of the interaction between boiler ash and paitan compost is real on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, root volume and root length. The best treatment is at a boiler ash dose of 300 g per polybag and paitan compost 80 g per polybag. The main effect of boiler ash is real on the whole observation parameters. The best treatment is at a dose of 300 g per polybag. Influence The main component of paitan compost is significant for all observation parameters. Treatment best at a dose of 80 g per polybag.
