Technological developments can influence the global economy today. The use of internet networks in the economic and trade fields is used as a means of commerce because the benefits are numerous. People who previously carried out buying and selling transactions directly or face to face between consumers and producers are slowly changing to a new style, namely buying and selling transactions via the internet or online transactions, which is a new way of carrying out buying and selling transactions. The problems that the author examines in this research are as follows: 1) What is the legal protection provided by shawlpuri.id for cases of goods that arrive not in accordance with the catalogue, 2) What are the obstacles faced by consumers who are not protected for goods that do not comply with the catalogue? The type of research used in this research includes observational legal research in which the author makes direct observations of the research object. This research was conducted in Pekanbaru City. The data used in this research uses primary data and secondary data. The data collection tool uses interviews Based on the results of Shawlpuri's research, it must also provide a mechanism for returning unsuitable goods to maintain customer trust and satisfaction. In this case, Shawlpuri.id has also advised customers that if this happens, they should immediately contact the admin, but there are also some customers who are reluctant to return it because they say it takes a long time to deliver the goods. In addition, increasing consumer awareness of their rights is also important to strengthen their position in e-commerce transactions. Legal protection for consumers in trade transactions is regulated through general laws and regulations and special agreements between related parties. Consumers in Indonesia are protected by Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection (UUPK).
