Secant pile is one type of construction technique in civil engineering used for constructing retaining walls. This technique involves the use of piles placed adjacent to each other at a certain distance along the line of the wall to be built. The secant pile method involves the construction of two types of piles: primary piles and secondary piles. This thesis aims to determine the bearing capacity, lateral bearing capacity, lateral settlement, and deflection, as well as to compare the results of empirical and finite element calculations for secant pile foundations with a diameter of 880 mm. The analysis methods used in this research are empirical methods and finite element methods. The empirical analysis includes Mayerhoff's method, Reese and Wright's method, and PDA (Pile Driving Analyzer) testing. The numerical analysis using finite element method is performed using Plaxis software, and the results are compared with PDA test data. The analysis utilizes field soil investigation and laboratory data. The results of the study obtained that the axial bearing strength of the secant pile foundation using the Mayerhoff method for the primary pile is as follows, starting from the primary pile of 2694.120 kN and the secondary pile of 2660.724 kN, there is a difference of 1.255% using the Reese and Wright method is as follows, starting from the primary pile of 2614.182 kN, and the secondary pile of 2580.786 kN there is a difference of 1.294% using the PDA test method, starting from the primary pile of 3819.033 kN and the secondary pile of 3347.172 kN, there is a difference of 14.097%, using the Plaxis program for the primary pile is 3270.66 kN while for the secondary pile is 3192.864 kN, there is a difference of 2.44%. The results of the lateral strength capacity analysis using the Broms method for the primary pile were 524.153 kN and for the secondary pile were 892.175 kN, there was a difference of 41.249%. The results of the settlement analysis using the PDA test for the primary pile were 24.300 mm and the secondary pile was 18.800 mm, there was a difference of 22.633%, using the empirical method for the primary pile was 31.193 mm and the secondary pile was 31.164 mm, a difference of 0.092% and using the Plaxis program for the primary pile was 23.06 mm and the secondary pile was 22.97 mm, there was a difference of 0.39%. The results of the lateral deflection analysis using the Plaxis program for the primary pile was 15.54 mm and the secondary pile was 14.75 kN, there was a difference of 5.36%.
