Pembimbing: Leo Adhar Effendi, S.Pd., M.Pd ABSTRAK Penelitian model pembelajaran (CORE) memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh CORE terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa yang ditinjau dari pengetahuan awal matematika siswa SMP YLPI Perhentian Marpoyan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VII.1 (kelas eksperimen) dan siswa kelas VII.2 (kelas kontrol). Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan peneliti yaitu dengan melakukan posttest, tes pengetahuan awal matematika siswa, lembar observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu uji anova dua arah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan kesimpulan yaitu: 1) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran CORE terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa; 2) terdapat pengaruh pengetahuan awal matematika terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa; 3) tidak terdapat interaksi penerapan model pembelajaran CORE dengan pengetahuan awal matematika terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa.
