Analisis Peran Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Provinsi Riau dalam Mengurangi Pengangguran Melalui Job Fair
This research aims to evaluate the role of the Riau Province Manpower and Transmigration Service (Disnakertrans) in overcoming the problem of unemployment through various initiatives, especially in implementing the job fair program. This research seeks to assess the effectiveness of job fairs, the strategies used to improve their performance, and identify the obstacles faced in managing them. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive approach, which allows data collection through surveys or interviews. The data obtained is specific and relevant to this research. The research results show that the role of the Manpower and Transmigration Department is very important in implementing the job fair, including planning, organization and evaluation after the event takes place. In addition, this research confirms that job fairs are effective in reducing unemployment because they provide direct opportunities for job seekers to interact with companies.
