Coordinator for Education in the District has the task of improving education in the Pasir Limau Kapas District, Rokan Hilir Regency and to slightly boost Human Resources in the Pasir Limau Kapas District, Rokan Hilir Regency to be even better, but in reality the level of education in the Pasir Limau Kapas District is Rokan Hilir has not met the expectations of the Government and the Community, this is due to the lack of performance of the regional coordinator in providing education in the Pasir Limau Kapas Subdistrict, Rokan Hilir Regency. The research method uses qualitative research methods as a technique for data collection and direct interviews with informants such as the Head of the Education and Culture Office, the Secretary of the Education and Culture Office, the Head of the General and Personnel Section of the Education and Culture Office, Members of the District Education Area Coordinator, the Principal and others. . The results of the study show that the performance of the Regional Coordinator in the field of education in the Pasir Limau Kapas sub-district as the implementation of educational affairs has been quite running but there are still many shortcomings in carrying out this performance. Obstacles in the Regional Coordinator's policy since the transition from an echelon position to envoy staff from the Education and Culture Office have made it unable to make direct decisions, because there is no authority from the Korwil for education in the field of education. There are obstacles from existing human resources, such as a lack of understanding from members or staff from the Regional Coordinator for Education in the District which is still very minimal. Geographical conditions such as damaged roads plus tides from sea water determine the implementation of direct supervision of the Regional Coordinator to schools to be hampered. The inhibiting factor is the efficiency in coordination between the Education and Culture Office of Rokan Hilir Regency must be further improved, this form of efficiency is by providing work targets and also the time limit for carrying out the main tasks and functions of the Regional Coordinator given by the Education Office to the Regional Coordinator for Education in the District. complaints received by the Regional Coordinator for Education in the sub-district can be responded to quickly
