Upaya Guru dalam Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Al-Quran di Taman Pendidikan Alquran Khadimul Ummah Desa Pandau Jaya Kampar
This study is motivated by the lack of students’ learning interest in the Quran at the Khadimul Ummah Al-Qur'an Educational Park in Pandau Jaya Village of Kampar Regency with the signs such as: a lack of student attendance, a lack of student activity, sleepy students during the learning process and irresponsible students who enjoy playing rather than studying the Quran. Based on these problems, the author conducted a study entitled: "The Teachers’ Efforts in Improving Learning Interest in the Quran at the Khadimul Ummah Al-Qur'an Educational Park in Pandau Jaya Village of Kampar". The problem formulation of the study is: "what are the teachers’ efforts in improving learning interest in the Quran at the Khadimul Ummah Al-Qur'an Educational Park in Pandau Jaya Village of Kampar?" The aim of the study is to find out what efforts made by the teachers to improve learning interest in the Quran at the Khadimul Ummah Al-Qur'an Educational Park in Pandau Jaya Village of Kampar Regency. The subject of the study is the Quran teachers at the Khadimul Ummah Al-Qur'an Educational Park in Pandau Jaya Village of Kampar. Meanwhile, the object of the study is the teacher’s efforts in improving learning interest in the Quran at the Khadimul Ummah Al-Qur'an Educational Park in Pandau Jaya Village of Kampar. This is a qualitative study with a case study approach. The data collection technique of the study is interview. The data analysis techniques of this qualitative study are data reduction, data presentation, and the final stage or verification. The conclusions are drawn from the results of the interviews. The results of the study are that the teachers of the Al-Qur'an Educational Park have attempted to improve learning interest in the Quran by stimulating students such as: giving praise, encouragement, motivation and creating competitions, providing realistic expectations by giving targets to achieve, providing incentives by providing snacks, and providing guidance by providing direction, advice and evaluation.
